Craniosacral therapy is a gentle form of touch therapy that offers nervous system regulation and healing to the body via holds at the head, sacrum, feet, and torso. Through resonance and gentle holding the body is able to access an innate healing potential through fluid movement and nervous system discharge. Craniosacral therapy is especially helpful with:
- Trauma (both emotional and physical)
- Autoimmune disorders (Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Hashimoto’s Disease, Crohn’s Disease, etc.)
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Chronic Fatigue
- Sensory Processing Disorder
Crraniosacral therapy sessions are 45 – 60 minutes.
In conjunction with traditional therapy sessions, craniosacral therapy is an amazing way to integrate the physiological impact of our life experiences with the need for our minds to make sense of what we’ve been through and how to move forward in life with meaning and purpose.
I offer both traditional therapy and craniosacral therapy sessions in 90-minute blocks, which allows about 45 minutes for talking and 45 minutes for the body work.
